He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He comes from a rich western family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
