History: Born in the south to a Guard, Heward learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Roland was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Recently the stress of being a Dyer has made it difficult for him to sleep.

History: Gifted from a young age, Cockaby studied abroad. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
