History: Born in the south to a Barber, Gilbert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and balancing his hectic life and new barber responsibilities is difficult

History: Born to a Miller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Bookbinder father left him crippled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
