He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in halberd use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
