History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Hubert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hubert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His childhood dream was to be a Dyer, but he was a colossal failure. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

He usually doesn't wear a shirt, and his gloved hand is found clutching a quarterstaff. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Uraim's homeland. Uraim decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Uraim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
