His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He became a Miller soon after.

History: He got into the Healer business at a young age. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has achieved small success as a Healer.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and balancing his hectic life and new healer responsibilities is difficult

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he is dressed in an above average manner. His white hair is still thick. He has gleaming, smiling black eyes.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Xappan is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a Carpenter, his father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
