History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

History: Born in the west to a Fisher, Heward learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Halimath hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He bought a greataxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
