History: Halander was born with his father's beautiful face. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Through the years after Norman was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Norman's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
