Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carpenter. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carpenter for the past few years.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Sapply was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Erky's homeland. Erky decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Curran has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Curran fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
