History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Eiravel was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Eiravel's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Eiravel and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Cockaby hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He found a children's book about a Gnome Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
