Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rurik embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Rurik was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and many goblins want him driven away

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dragonborn conditions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This slender man stands about 6'2". He wears a grey deerstalker hat and grey clothes. His black crest is long and unkept. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gold.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Fax was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
