History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Miles was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bookbinder. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Dadalan was born the youngest of three triplets. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born to a Blacksmith, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student he started as a Blacksmith, but he got bored and became a Painter. He has worked as a Painter like his father before him.
