History: Zook hails from a village terrorized by giants. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and gnomish compassion

History: Born to a Armorer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student he started as a Armorer, but he got bored and became a Engraver. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Shifting enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Shifting was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shifting's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over.
