History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a pastel vest and prefers grey and black shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His blonde hair is knotted and matted. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lucan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
