History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Shaká was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shaká's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Description: This man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized jet on his right hand. His white fur, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are likewise yellow. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Emerald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a black shirt with thin grey vertical stripes and green pants. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has a silver handlebar mustache and slicked back silver hair. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Oblar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. After a long history of fighting, Oblar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
