History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thrak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Heskan hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He married young, but lost his spouse to orcs. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Ugarth was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
