History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He carries with him a set of clubs, each one with a topaz on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His gray fur is smooth and relatively long. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His fur is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Layabout. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Tricking was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: With blue face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a grey coat. His head has been shaved. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Dabbledob lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Jade abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor
