History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Thorpe reached his early adolescence his Halfling mother passed away. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
