Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His black hair is thinning but still full. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Shepherd business.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is dressed in an above average manner. With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. His eyes are a pleasant violet.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Description: A 6'1" southern man, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. He wears his white hair up in a very large beehive style do. He has green eyes.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents enrolled him in a Barbarian school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with grey colored cloaks and clothing. He carries with him a set of clubs on his belt, each one with a opal on the hilt. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Marbas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Marbas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
