History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Bertram never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He tends to his Shipwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he desires power and/or immortality
