Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a black armored body suit, with a simple brown line shooting up and back down. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gilthur was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Gilthur took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. Being a Actor kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Robert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Soapmaker. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a great chef.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.
