History: Robert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
