History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and doesn't want to be a fortune-teller and was forced into it by his family

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Howard hails from a village terrorized by giants. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Howard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.
