History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Sailor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
