History: Azzakh was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Fulbar took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion.

History: Wiggan was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Wiggan and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his religion dominates his actions
