History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Performer and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Ernest has worked very hard to control his curse. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. A true patriot, Pandjed would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Fax was born with his mother's beautiful face. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and regain custody of his son

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cockaby grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
