Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. Ar-Gul was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Painter. During his travels, Ar-Gul and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ar-Gul discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ar-Gul fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pog fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He's in love; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tethren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and to be a layabout again
