He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gimble alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Thomas and his spouse have recently divorced.
