Description: A middle-aged man, he wears violet robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available he will default to his scimitar, and is pretty ugly. His purple hair is heavily combed to the right. His red eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Vassago and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a simple violet robe with black stripes complete with hood. His hair is red and curly. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Nalral speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nalral grew up listening to his father's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bow.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is wearing a long, red cloak. His hair is chestnut and curly. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born in the west. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears tattered old clothes. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure

Description: He stands about 6'3" and is renowned for his bright brown suits and hats. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He keeps his green crest in a flapper bob. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Pandjed alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Pandjed was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.
