History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Kerkad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Edge was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Sheggen and his spouse have recently divorced.
