Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He wears his black hair up in a very large beehive style do. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is a Layabout first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears suspenders and grey workpants. His shirt is brown, and he wears a heavy grey leather apron most of the time. His hair is cut close to his head. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Reynard embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Reynard was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. A gifted student he started as a Slave Trader, but he got bored and became a Weaver. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and to be a slave trader again

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Watson fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright green and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He carries with him a set of spears, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He keeps his auburn hair in a flapper bob. He has blue eyes and a green hat with a violet feather.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Nicholas was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A freak accident while working with his Doctor father left him crippled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
