History: Qualen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mayor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
