History: Curran hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Curran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Gerard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Gerard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gerard decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Through the years after Oblar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Oblar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to clean up the streets
