History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kerkad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. After a long history of fighting, Berrian and his spouse have recently divorced.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He worked as a nervous Soapmaker and found it very stressful. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
