A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bowyer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He's also a talented Tailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a Bather, his father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Mantus was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Mantus's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dilettante and was forced into it by his family.

After months of barely getting by, Thakrak managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture
