History: Gifted from a young age, Umpen studied abroad. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Fargas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Halfling Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a Bookbinder soon after.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
