Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aerdeth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He worked as a nervous Jeweler and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Map Maker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Akmen was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Akmen decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: Sapply was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
