History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. History: He was born into a rich family. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

History: He was born in the south. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nirgel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barrister. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barrister.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
