Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Tordek was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has achieved small success as a Dyer.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is unsatisfied with his job
