History: He was born in a small desert village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Emerald took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Cook but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cook work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cook work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Animal Trainer, but he got bored and became a Miller. He became a Miller soon after.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and to end his boredom

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.
