Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He found a children's book about a Halfling Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Shifting was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shifting decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Servant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
