History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman and is in decent physical shape. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Nutae was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nutae's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and to share knowledge with the world
