Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His childhood dream was to be a Painter, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.
