History: Marbas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Flask never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
