Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many grey ritualistic tattoos. He wears a tan collared shirt and grey pants. He accessorizes with a green scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His silver hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Aldous is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: This malnourished man prefers to wear white clothing when he does not wear armor. He keeps his dark red hair in a flapper bob. His half smiles and silver eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His childhood dream was to be a Beggar, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dilettante for hire.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and is pretty ugly. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His eyes are likewise gold.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Bathin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Bathin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Bathin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to share knowledge with the world
