History: Elaim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the south to a Map Maker, Gerald learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
