Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Shane is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's also a talented Gardener, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born in the east to a Sailor, Qualen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His first spouse was a Doctor, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
