History: Gifted from a young age, Alston studied abroad. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Alston's homeland. Alston decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
