History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A gifted student he started as a Doctor, but he got bored and became a Slave Trader. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His first spouse was a Spice Merchant, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a Glassblower, his father struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nordak studied abroad. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he wants revenge against dire rats
