Description: This man stands a little under 5'7" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears bulky tan painted plate armor. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gold.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Zephan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 48. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Darrak is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Darrak was born with his mother's beautiful face. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
